  Part 2 …Game of cards.. Playing The Hand You're Dealt   A carrot, an egg and a cup of coffee. ( author unknown )   You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again.   A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed, as one problem was solved, a new one arose.   Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to a boil. In the first - she placed carrots. In the second - she placed eggs. And in the last one she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil; without saying a word.   In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it...

Props Stagemaster - What Will You Leave Behind?

Props - Stage Master  I've come to realize, as you probably have too, that all the things we accumulate in life are just props. They're just on loan from the great stage master.   Possessions, wealth, title's ...clothes - we have to hand them all back when our life is over. And what do we get to keep? What do we still have that says who we were?   The emotions we left behind. How we made others feel - about us, and about themselves.   It's not money or status that's important, it's how we use those things to benefit others.   When they read our eulogy, will they state how many expensive cars we owned, or how many rooms there were in our house or how our home overlooked a prominent place?   Maybe they'll say we acquired money to travel overseas? But did that benefit others?   No, they won't state our wealth at our memorial. They will talk about the dash between our birth day and the day we died. They'll talk about...
