Running a Cycle - A Deep Cleanse

Running a Wash

Sometimes our dish washer doesn't do its cycle properly.

On occasion the tablet doesn't come out of the door, or after running a wash, the tablet is still on the bottom of the dishwasher and not dissolved.

But we don't say – “Well it's all too hard, I'll just leave them dirty”

And we don't say - “I'll wash them by hand”. No, we run another cycle.

Yes, it's annoying, but we just have to let it do its thing. Because we want, and need, clean dishes.

Our Wash Cycle

What about ourwash cycle’?

After instruction from our heavenly father, we may have to run a cycle in our washer to ‘Clean up our act.’

Sometimes it's just a rinse cycle, and other times, it's more like a heavy duty wash – A deep clean.

But what if the cycle doesn't work properly? Do we bother to run a second wash? Or do we say - "Well this is just me. It's too hard! "

We might think - “I'll never be any good as a Christian, so why try? I just have too much to work on.”

But that’s not how our God sees us. He wants to see the best in us, and He sees just how hard we try, and all the good we accomplish. Despite being imperfect.

So never give up on yourself, and don’t give up on those you love either.

Because there’s no stain that Jesus’ death can’t make amends for.

Hang in there and keep running your wash cycles.

And please - Try not to air your dirty laundry 😊

Until next time - Have a great day and make every meeting special.
