Your Hand Fits in Mine
Your hand fits in mine
Just thought I'd share a thought...
Have you ever had the privilege of holding
your grandchild’s hand in yours?
Or perhaps you can recall holding the hand of
someone you truly loved in yours?
It doesn't matter how tired and worn those
hands look or feel, when that hand is resting in yours it feels so comfortable.
It’s a perfect fit. It’s like they were made for each other.
Can you recall those warm feelings?
Our relationship with God is like that.
He holds us in the palm of his hand so warmly
and reassuringly,....
It's like it’s where it belongs - ISA 41:10
Your
palm in my palm, your hand in my hand.
God holds our hand every morning when we wake
up.
We live in a beautiful part of town.
Every morning, bright and early the
Kookaburras give their morning call.
I go outside and watch the Kangaroos in the
top paddock. I look around and see the green fields that the gentle mist has
fallen on. I watch the sun rise, warming the air and welcoming in a new day.
I see around me the trees and shrubs are
wearing their colourful outfits.
It’s like Our God is giving us a gentle caress
We didn't have to have the sounds of nature
and things could have been in black and white,... but in our creators kindness
he gave us sights and sounds to enjoy.
He cares for the birds. They still don’t know
what all the fuss with COVID-19 is about (Matthew 10:29-31) They have shelter,
food, and all that they need. So too, we have everything we need. Theres no
need to worry.
We feel God’s gentle hands when we are distressed
too.
Our brothers and sisters in faith rally around
us and take care of our physical and emotional needs and they care for us
spiritually too. Keeping us thinking positive thoughts.
Throughout COVID-19 God has continued to give
us a big hug, as we continue to be kept informed and spiritually fed. His work
continues. Even in isolation.
We have so much to thank Our Creator for each
day 😀😀
Until next time - Have a great day and make every meeting special.
